In the sermon, Pastor shared how he had come to the wrong conclusion that the rental car driver had stolen his phone. Have you ever had a similar experience of misreading a situation or being certain about a wrong conclusion?
What are some unhealthy/unhelpful ways in which the principle of retribution is at work in your heart? Do you tend to attribute positive and negative circumstances to how you are doing spiritually?
Can you identify with any of the sentiments Job is expressing in these chapters about God or his condition? How does the cross help to counter thoughts like these?
