Pastor Lester Cruzat
Assistant Pastor​

It was the persistence of a Chicago high school friend and a week-long camp Christian camp retreat that led Lester to embrace Jesus as His friend, Lord, and Savior back in his senior year of high school. The Lord has been burning a passion to grow deeper in knowledge and love with Him and serving others ever since. Equipped with a shepherd’s heart and desire to teach the Word of God, Lester longs to see the mission of the Gospel of Jesus Christ spread and experienced by as many people as God the Father allows him too. 

Lester currently lives in Glenview, Illinois with his wife Grace and blessed with two children, Hannah (8) and Joseph (5). 

His interests and hobbies include multiple sports and activities which include: baseball, basketball, golf,  rock climbing, and various martial arts. He is a big fan of Korean food and fried chicken and has a huge affinity for sour candy. 

Lester is currently working part-time here at ICC as an assistant pastor. He grew up in the Albany Park area of Chicago IL and attended college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received a call to go into full-time ministry. Upon graduating, he remained in the Urbana-Champaign area and taught high school as a science teacher for six years. After his tenure as a teacher, he continued his long-standing call to go into ministry by attending Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis and upon graduating, held multiple pastoral positions throughout the following years which included being a college pastor and lead pastor in the St Louis area, and church planter in Chicago IL. ​
