COVID Mask Guidelines (updated March 2022)

Masks are OPTIONAL  for everyone (adults and children) regardless of vaccination status. Thank you for your cooperation.

When and where do you meet?

While in COVID mitigation, we will be meeting indoors with comprehensive safety measures in place (see further below for details). Our Sunday service will begin at 11:30am and will run approximately one hour and a half with the main worship in the sanctuary.

Covid Protocol Update: We are asking anyone who experiences a fever or fever-like symptoms to refrain from attending any in-person ICC events until at least 7 days after the symptoms have subsided. We are also recommending those who experience these symptoms to get COVID tested if possible.

What steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all attendees?

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore we want you to know that:

1. We have truncated our live worship to approximately 1.5 hours with ventilation so people are not gathered in one room for an extended period of time.
2. All the rooms we use (e.g. sanctuary, fellowship hall, gym) have their own dedicated roof-top HVAC units with a high-filtration system, which means that the indoor air is continuously refreshed with the outdoor air instead of being stagnant or recycling the same air within the room.

You must adhere to the following:
  • I am not experiencing any symptoms of sickness (fever of greater than 99.9° at any time in the past 5 days, cough, body aches, new loss of taste or smell, etc.)
  • I have not had contact with a person confirmed or suspected to have Covid-19 for more than 5 days and have been practicing Illinois safety guidelines, including wearing a mask for an additional 5 days.
  • If you were traveling or even staying in town and social distancing was not practiced, we ask you to respectfully decline attending an in person service at this time.

What should I wear?

When you come to our service, you will find people dressed anywhere from jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire.

What about my children?
