Discussion Questions:

What was a difficult disappointment you remember going through? How did you feel and deal with that disappointment?
How have you seen God work in and through your disappointments? What are some lessons you have learned?
Moses' greatest disappointment was being disqualified from ever setting foot onto the promise land due to his disobedience to the Lord in Numbers 20:6-13. We later find Moses making an appearance in Matthew 17:1-3 with Jesus and speaking to Him during His glorious transfiguration. What are some things we can learn and hope for based on this account of Moses' life?
Read Deuteronomy 30:19-20. Moses' vision and hope was never in a plot of land, but of a nation representing God and His rule to the watching world by the love for God and care for one another. How does this inform you of some of the things we may be placing our hope in and what perspective change can we make in accordance to Moses' true vision?
