Discussion Questions:

1. What is one of the earliest moments of shame that you experienced in childhood? Does it have any lingering affect on you as an adult? 
2. Shame is a shared experience. We can feel the shame of someone else's failures and vice versa. How have you experienced this truth? 
3. How does the shame that Jesus endured on the cross help us in dealing with our own shame? 
4. In the same way that God covers our shame, we ought to protect and cover the shame of others. Have you ever done this for someone? Has anyone ever done this for you?
