On March 9-11th, the Chicagoland churches of the Thrive Network will be coming together for our annual ReFocus weekend. This is a time in which we unplug from the busy distractions of our daily life and intentionally seek to refocus our eyes on Christ and the things which are eternal. We are very excited to have Dr. Ron Walborn join us and we are anticipating a memorable weekend in which God moves in powerful ways. The theme for this year is “Awaken to the Spirit.” Dr. Walborn will help us see how real and present the Holy Spirit is in the lives of God’s people. Please read further below for details regarding childcare and logistics.

Dr. Ron Walborn is the Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary and the College of Bible and Christian Ministry at Nyack College. He has spoken at numerous Christian and secular colleges across America, and at churches and conferences throughout the US and internationally. He has written a book on stewardship, Stewardship & the Kingdom of God, published by the Christian & Missionary Alliance and chaired the committee that wrote the C&MA position on Spiritual Gifts, Expectation Without Agenda.
Ron has been married to Wanda (the Director of Spiritual Formation at Nyack College) since 1984. They have four adult children: Kelly, Brice, Karis, and Karly, and one granddaughter, Isabella. |

Child CareFor those with children, we are requesting, if possible, to make arrangements for childcare on your own. However we we are offering limited on-site childcare, for ages 3 and up, on Friday and Saturday evenings at a cost of $5/child per evening ($20 max per family per evening) for those struggling to find childcare options. Registration is required by clicking HERE and will close on Wed, March 7th. A cry room will be available with a live feed for those caring for children under the age of 3, as well as stroller seating towards the rear of the sanctuary.
