When and where do you meet?
While in COVID mitigation, we will be meeting indoors with limited capacity seating and with comprehensive safety measures in place (see further below for details). Our Sunday service will begin at 11:30am and will run approximately one hour with the main worship in the sanctuary. We will also have a limited children's ministry and youth group program in other parts of the building for those who register. In order to safely distance our capacity for the service is as follows: 65 for sanctuary, 45 for gym/youth group room (youth group), and 35 for the children's ministry in the fellowship hall on the lower level. Once we reach capacity, we will close registration.
Children's Ministry. We will resume meeting in person on 2/21. We will be hosting a children's program by family groups in the fellowship hall (limited to 35 people total). Family tables will be safely spaced out in the fellowship hall where at least one parent is invited to worship with their children. A children's Bible Story & activities will be provided. One parent per family will serve as a table facilitator, shepherding your children through the lesson, discussion and prayer time. Please bring: mask & water bottle. Families will be asked to help sanitize areas before leaving.
Catalyst Youth Group. We will resume meeting in person on 2/21. To keep groups smaller our Catalyst youth alternate meeting every other week between two groups (6th, 10th, 11th & 12th graders) and (7th, 8th, & 9th graders). Please contact Pastor Chris Kim if you'd like to know the schedule for a particular Sunday or check the ICC Google calendar (linked HERE). If your youth-aged child does not have small group on a given Sunday they are welcome to worship with their parent(s) in the sanctuary.
If you have the Church Center App please register from the app or click the button below to complete the registration for the live service you'd like to attend.

What steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all attendees?
Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore in addition to limiting the number of people who can occupy a room (in conjunction with CDC and the state of Illinois guidelines) we want you to know that:
1. We require temperature checks, mask-wearing and safe social-distancing and seating for everyone entering the building.
2. We have truncated our live worship to approximately one hour so people are not gathered in one room for an extended period of time.
3. All the rooms we use (e.g. sanctuary, fellowship hall, gym) have their own dedicated roof-top HVAC units with a high-filtration system, which means that the indoor air is continuously refreshed with the outdoor air instead of being stagnant or recycling the same air within the room.
4. We have limited congregational singing (with masks) to the end of the adult service only, so those who do not wish to participate may exit the room at that time.
5. Door handles. bathrooms and high-touch and high-traffic areas are sanitized regularly.
6. We are logging all attendees and committed to contact tracing and communicating all affected immediately if a COVID case ever arises.

What about my children?

We are asking at least one parent to volunteer to serve with the children if your children is participating in the children's ministry. The youth group will meet for small groups alternating between 6th, 10th, 11th, & 12th graders on one Sunday and 7th, 8th, & 9th graders on alternating Sundays. We also host a Welcoming Lunch every few months after service. These lunches are held at a nearby church member’s house, and will give you an opportunity to enjoy a good meal, meet some of ICC’s leaders, find out more about our church and get answers to any questions that you may have about our church or ministries. These will begin again as restrictions and safety concerns ease.
